The Story
Time-traveller Rosie finds an old newspaper dated 1943 and spots a report on the arrest of one Edward O’Neill for murder. She is horrified; this is the Edward she met on her trip to 1900, son of her great-great uncle Joseph. She travels back to 1943, where Ireland is in a state of emergency as the Second World War rages in Britain and Europe. Rosie has survived harsh conditions before.
